Our owner, Wendy Williams, has a passion for putting together beautiful fabrics to make your project look spectacular! She goes the extra mile for each customer, making sure you get individualized customer service which is so rare these days. Wendy is also a devoted wife and mother to four beautiful children. She loves animals, anything outdoors, and volunteering at church. She brings so much joy and love to House Fabric.
As for her family, you can often catch one of the four Williams children helping with answering phones, packaging orders, marketing the business, or greeting store customers. Wendy's husband, Troy, is the behind-the-scenes guy who will jump in any "roll" needed day to day.
Our team members at House Fabric have also become part of the family over the years, and each team member brings a loving dynamic to our business.
Our History
House Fabric was founded in 1952 by Anatol and Maria, a husband-and-wife team who shared a love for textiles and design. Their original company was known as Anatol's Fabric Outlet and was previously located in Brentwood, Missouri. Thanks to their dedication and loyal customers, House Fabric became a cornerstone of the St. Louis community.
In 2023, we move our location to a beautiful store front in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. It's a place where creativity comes to life, where upholstery company owners, designers, and individual fabric enthusiasts find inspiration and the perfect materials for their projects. Our wide assortment of designs, colors, and textures sets us apart, making us the first stop for many in the St. Louis area and beyond.
Over the years, we've expanded our offerings to include a vast range of fabrics for every need, from upholstery to draperies to outdoor use. Our knowledgeable staff are here to provide personalized service and expert advice. We work to ensure all of our customers receive a five-star service experience.
